I haven't been posting progress threads, as I haven't had much to show over the past couple months. Mainly because I have been working on 5 cars, and here are shots of 3 of them. I've finished body work on my IROC porsche, and it is in it's final coat of primer. It looks good, and I look forward to shooting some color on it real soon. I will start a separate thread for it when it's in color. The other car not shown is a HemiCuda. I've cleaned up the body and all of the parts, but can't decide on a color.
First up is a Hasegawa Porsche 944 turbo. It is a full detail kit, and came with some precut suede leather pieces for the interior accents, and some tubing for the various engine hoses. So far the fit of this kit has been really good. The headlights were designed to be poseable, but I have glued them down in the closed position, and rescribed the panel lines. It is now in final primer, and ready for paint. I am planning on painting this a Cobra Colors pearl white, with cream and tan interior.

Next is a Fujimi Porsche 928GT. So far this kit has been pretty tough going. All of the panel lines were VERY shallow. I had to rescribe every visible panel line. The nose and rear bumper were not quite the right size to fit the body. Lots of sanding and shaping were done after they were cemented on.
Brian pointed out to me last night that the front fender flare doesn't have a seam as this pic shows. The real fenders are actually smooth, but widened. So since taking the picture I have added some putty and have sanded one side of the car smooth. It looks much better now I think. I will post more pics after I spray some primer over that body change.
I'm planning on painting this Cobra Colors Porsche Meridian Metallic. It is a medium silver with rose pearl flakes. It's a very beautiful color on the real cars, and hope it turns out well in scale.
