I've received Tamiya's new 1/12 Kawasaki ZZR 1400 kit which also builds into a (mostly) US version of the Ninja ZX 14. Tamiya includes white and silver Ninja decals for the fairing and tank, and Ninja ZX 14 metal transfers for the rear fender area.
A look through the box is as promising as any Tamiya bike I've built; nice detail and parts quality. I'll build it 100% box stock and it should be in Scale Auto sometime in the next few months. I'm going to start on it tonight :cool:
My plans are to paint it in a 2007 color called Candy Plasma Blue. I've got some ideas how I can match it with either Tamiya TS or Cobra Colors paints I have in-house. Bite your tongue if you even think about lime green on this one :D
