Well, I started my bike kit for the NNL. This is the kit:

I haven't posted anything in a while because I've been busy with my R/C cars. Having a blast running my HPI Baja B5.

Here are pictures of the engine. Tamiya has some variety of colors. I couldn't even find them on the Tamiya paint rack. I mean the numbers just simply didn't exist on the paint rack. Some colors are mixed. The block was just simply called out to be metallic gray. There are quite a few shades of that color. So I used Testors magnesium metallizer. It seemed most logical. Then the valve covers and a couple of other parts are supposed to be a mix of Titanium Gold & Metallic Gray. No titanium gold color exists on the Tamiya rack. So what I did was use the Testors Magnesium and I dust coated on Alclad Gold over it and it seems to have achieved the desired effect. So here are four shots around the engine. Thanks for looking.

Very Nice work on the engine. You should have a great looking bike when it's done.

I also built that bike a couple of years ago myself, it was really enjoyable.

Here's a quick pic of it.

Looks like we are going to have a good collection of bikes for the web theme. The engine looks awesome, I think you will find this to be an enjoyable model to build.
