Paul has already booked the community center for Nov. 13/14 for the 2009 NNL. I would assume we will book another room for the make and take program.
Think ahead to the "Speed Weeks" (anything raced at Daytona), "Retro in the Metro" (retro-themed cars like Mustang, Challenger, Camaro, Beetle, Mini, SSR, Thunderbird, etc.), and "Straight Line" themes.
Because of how the dates fall on the calendar, our November 2009 ACME meeting is Nov. 1st, 13 days ahead of the NNL with a full weekend in between the November meeting and the show on the 14th which is the second Saturday of the month.
Our March meeting is on Sunday, March 1, meaning our March meeting is the weekend prior to the Birmingham NNL.
If nothing else, the calendar is being quite cooperative for 2009, it's nice to not have our meeting overlapping w/the MCCM NNL, and nice not to have our monthly meeting less than a week prior to our NNL.
