Hi, I'm new here and live in New York. My friend Rob(Firehawk here on ACME) who lives in Georgia recommended I stop by and check out this site.
I've seen some real nice cars built here and I'm sure will see many more. :)

Thanks guys! I'll be working on a 68 Revell Firebird kit and I'm also making a model of a 1/4 mile drag car that a friend had years ago. It's a 68 Camaro. I'll be using an AMT kit and various other parts. I ordered the wheels, tires and some other parts from Scale Modeling by Chris:

Here are some screen shots from an old video.

Hey thanks guys! I feel welcome her already.
Here is the 68 Camaro kit and all the parts I have so far.
This car belonged to a friend of mine. He sold it a few years ago. I built 2 models of this car back in the 80's, 1 for myself and 1 for my friend Mike who owned the 68 Camaro. My model is packed in storage at the moment. Both of the models I built were earlier versions of this car. I thought it would be nice to build it in the later, more race, stage.
I recently found the website, Scale Modeling by Chris(link attached). I got all the parts except the AMT/ERTL Camaro from this site.

I bought this starting line tree with Raceway Park decals to have some fun when I display it.

Here is a picture I took at Raceway Park in NJ about 20 years ago. This was right before the wheels were switched out for the Weld Pro Star's that are in the video screen shots I posted above. I'll be building it with the Weld wheels.
