Better late than never! Great turnout, great models on the show 'n tell table, and a great interactive how-to discussion on using the internet for model research by Wayne. He will provide a list of the sites we showed on Sunday.

Photos uploading as we speak...

Nice photos-who is building the Cadillac XLR and where can I purchase one of those bodies? Thanks

The resin XLR is from Jimmy Flintstone; it belongs to Bob Holfels. The black one is an older remote control toy that I found a few of at Fry's on closeout; it seems to be what Jimmy based his body on, but Jimmy didn't do the detailed lenses...so the toy is good if you want it to look stock. If you want to convert to a drag car...the Flintstone body may be perfect. It looks derived from the toy, but it's smaller, perhaps the mold shrank a bit, and the wheel openings are larger.

I got the last of the toy XLR's at the local Fry's. They were abundant a couple years ago.
