Basically in England my mum got told that I would rather watch fly's do the wild thing on the wall than pay attention in class. They suggested drugs to help bring in my attention span. My mum being the good Irish catholic lady she told them to go you know what themselves

First stop on the way home was the hobby store. I got told pick out anything and we shall see. I picked a model car. I have been building them ever since and I'm 39.

I've basically grew up in Roswell and moved to Woodstock after moving from England

In my time in Roswell during high school, I used to drive to this little model store in Smyrna "AutoMotif"

I spent many a paycheck there. I swear I made Milton's house note some months just by myself.

As time as gone on I've ended up with a beautiful wife and two lovely kids.

But my special room has remained unchanged since I had the house built except for the collection has got larger. The money spent during the month on this room has slowed but the passion is still there.

The room is kind of a mess right now so be fore warned.

So here are the pict's of the room. Some of the cars in the boxes are hella rare and are only seen once in a while on ebay.

Shown are various locations around the room

This is my son's favorite room in the house.

It all looks and sounds so familiar!

I'm sure you'll find ACME to be a good companion to your hobby.

Welcome!

Oh wow man, the memories of " uncle Milty " as we used to call him. I, too have spent many a paycheck in there. I could just sit and daydream of the shelves of kits and think of what my next score would be. We sure miss him. Welcome to the ACME group of merry model builders.
Danny.

Yes I was truely crushed one Saturday when I went out to get some stuff and found closed.

Taken to retirement.

I hope he is enjoying retirement life.

I see some of the stuff appearing on ebay from automotif lately. mainly diecast stuff.

Looks just like all of our houses! We all miss the Motif junkyard too.

I think many of us have a similar stash, and lots of it from Auto Motif.

Welcome aboard, and hope you can make it to the next meeting and to the show in November.
