I'd like to build one of these cars (attached pix). Is there a basic 1/24 917 kit that I could use?

I'm not familiar with all the 917 iterations. :confused:

Yep, the Fujimi kits are pretty nice. I would classify as curbside "plus", in the sense that they have a very simplified engine but the engine cover is designed to be glued in place.

Nice body, although not 100% accurate but not "off" enough to worry me.

Great wheels and tires.... and you can find after market decals for just about any 917k livery there ever was.

I found the Redman/Siefert car (Fujimi 12175) on a British site, decals and all.

How come we can't get this stuff from US suppliers???????

It's a discontinued kit. US suppliers must be out of it. They don't keep all kits in the current rotation.
