Warner just announced that the classic John Frankenheimer movie; Gran Prix will finally be released on DVD in a 2 disc special edition sometime this year!

Aww Man, before I opened this I was really hoping that Speed Channel was reverting back to showing more than just Na$$car 22 hours a day.
I know there's an online petition out there to bring back WRC and some other racing programming.

Is LeMans on DVD yet?

Yeah, LeMans has been out for a few years now. You can find it at Classic Motorbooks, or Amazon for about the price of a regular DVD.

I have it, Vanishing Point (original-not the horrible remake of a few years ago), Funny Car Summer, The Speed Merchants, and a few other "classic" car movies on DVD, but the one I want, and one that's become a collector's item and hard to find is Two Lane Blacktop. I've seen it for over $200 in some places. I can't understand that. It's not a great movie, but I saw it in the theater as a kid and I really want it on DVD.
