Good morning all;

I thought that I would take the time to register on this fine site because of what a great time that I had at the Southern Nationals this past weekend. I have already started building for next year. My goal is to bring four again, but there may be more. I am pretty much a perfectionist, or anal when it comes to building, and this slows me down. I may finally get a LeMans Minatures Goldline Dauer 962 finished, as well as a Studio 27 Williams FW26, we will see. I wanted to tell all of the ACME Members that I had a blast, and look forward to next year.

Hello Russell, this is Danny, Mike's dad. Welcome to the insanity. That's a beautiful build you have there. I have the same problem slowing me down on my builds. I'm trying to remember to just build for fun and to suit myself. Glad I got to meet you at the show and hope to see more builds from you.
Danny.

Welcome to ACME, Russell. You do great work and your 288GTO is awesome in yellow and made me want to build another one. Thanks to a good friend, I received a new Fujimi 288GTO myself at the show as a gift. Now I can build a yellow one to go with my red one I'd already built...

Yellow is awesome, if I ever build another 288, it's gonna be white.

Wow...

That is the first white one I have seen. That would look great on the 1/16th scale one that I have.

There's an entire thread of white Ferraris on Ferrarichat. It's worth signing up there for the inspiration alone.
