Matt, I used a roll of paper of the CAD plotter for photo background when I ran the website. I still use it at home for my own model photos. You'll get better pictures.

Sorry the photos weren't to your liking. :(

Seriously, it's a model club meeting, not a photo studio. I'm don't claim to be a professional photographer. Please feel free to bring some plotter paper to the next meeting and shoot 'Glamour Shots' for our Fotki site. We'd all appreciate your contribution.

These pictures arent for a magazine, they are just shots from a meeting. Sure, studio shots look great. But pictures directly from the meeting really show whats going on, and shows the "reality" of the meetings.

I like the shots on the table at the meetings, when I look through them and through other clubs table shots I feel a part of the meeting.

I really appreciate that Matt took the time out from a very busy meeting to take pictures. Between bringing his model projects and his three kids and keeping up with his VP duties what he requested from other members he had his hands full...yet took the time to show off the meeting pics and post them for everyone to see.

I also like the table shots from meetings; formality isn't necessary in that context. I love seeing those pics, and they're no different from the meeting pics that I see posted on other sites from other clubs. We all know how to take studio shots; there's a time and a place.

With so much going on yesterday at the meeting, it's nice to see the pics from the meeting...I always end up missing something when there's so much going on.

Thanks Matt! :)

I'd like to give a big round of applause to Matt for being able to keep up with his busy life and take some time out for the club and posting the pictures as well as keeping up with the Fotki site and VP Duties.

Thanks Matt, keep up the good work.

It was only suggestion drawing on my past experience and what I learned from seeing many photos posted at the Hobby Heaven message board.

Hi, Matt;
The job that you have done with the website & the meeting photos far exceeds anything that I expected anyone to do with the club website. You are to be commended for your efforts-thanks so much for all you have done.

Sincerely,
John Burney aka. Dragfan
