i think i have the name right, but was wondering if anyone caught this show on Discovery Time? Was quite interesting to see, showed mostly the new Mustang stuffed with horsepower stright from Ford Racing for their Can Am Race car(?) i think....Actually doing a build of something like this would be pretty cool to see.

Yeah, i finally caught it. It was on originally about a year ago. You can actually buy this car throught eh Ford Racing Parts Catalog. it's listed ad the FR500C in the 2006 catalog and costs about 125k. Not bad for a race ready Grand Am Cup legal race car that even won the championship last year. Shades of Porsche and their customer race car program!

If the complete car is too rich for your blood, you can buy just the body, seam welded with the GAC-spec rollcage installed from the catalog too.

thats wild i must say, but pretty cool at this day in age. Actually looking it over a second time (watched it twice), it would be a pretty easy build on a 2006 kit. Not much tearing into the car itself...suggestions, please acquire!
