I got home yesterday to find a package in my mailbox from Paintscratch. I excitedly opend it to find a bottle of Campbell's Split Pea Soup, or at least that's the color of the paint. I used the paint code in the documentation, so I guess Quartherman was wrong on this one. Looks like I'll spray the thing with TS-35!

Damn...y'know, there is NO love in the world from ANYONE who has dealt w/Quarterman.
But when we see the video maybe that will be the color. I do remember seeing Porsches in that color, but I assume that the color is much brighter than pea soup green.

I'm researching the colors for the final race (race #4) as it appears likely we'll be building those cars as well; that paint color chart certainly does have some problems when it comes to names and paint codes
The only problem w/the paint chart as it applies to race #4 is the blue color for the #5 Unser car; it's listed as Gulf Blue (dark) and the light blue that Allison ran in race #1, which is clearly the light Gulf Blue, listed as "Acid Blau" which is completely wrong. From what I gather the #5 car in race #4 is the same color as the #4 Follmer car in race #1, the bright "acid blue" that we painted Steve Linngrenn's car.
Hopefully Matt gets his DVD soon so we can watch the races and keep figuring all this stuff out :D

The DVD's were supposed to be ready this past week. I e-mailed the fella on Friday and got a response that they were still being created and very soon. He said he will e-mail me when they are available. He's very prompt at returning emails, so hopefully they'll be ready this week. I can't wait to see and hear the race.

Can't wait to see the DVD.
The final 6 cars were orange, red, yellow, aubergine purple, magenta, acid blue. No boring colors ;^)

I've got a question/suggestion. I take it this DVD is of the IROC season that the Porsche's ran? With all the IROC's on the display table wouldn't make a nice touch to have the DVD running on a monitor or TV as a backdrop behind them?

That would be a cool thing to display w/the cars.
