ok, i admit im a bit off....but i think i went off the deep end finding a hilux for under $10.00....so i bought it & almost 6 hours later the frame, tranny are painted, wheels/tires are mounted & the only thing trick i did to it was put in a frenched in license plate in the tailgate. The paint i decided for it is Model Master Sublime Green, so it'll stand out. At the moment im working the interior over some with the dash being the same color as the truck, seats silver/black & black floor.

ill have pics up of this soon

That's looking great Brian. I picked up one of the Aoshima 4x4 4Runners and hope to use the chassis under a different truck body someday.

Looks good Brian. Most of your other trucks will be able to fit under this one. :)

I have that kit too, but Dennis is holding it hostage.

There's a body on that truck? From my driver's seat I never see that much ;)

lol, hostage, yeah i dont doubt that one bit. This one actually came out pretty good other than me touching the cab top 3-4 times with my hand leaving noticable spots here & there in certain light. The clear i put on it helped dissolve that problem, hopefully when i polish it out it'll go away.

Good project to practice your painting/polishing technique!
