Well, I needed to get this one done for Saturday.... I think I will make it. Tomorrow nite I will add tail light lense, exhaust from aluminum tubing and other final details. Then I will do a final cleaning, mount it in a case and bring it to its owner. The neat deal is a bunch of his buddies who own these cars are teaming up with a S2K (honda S2000 club) and doing a 120 mile cruise or race which ever they prefer
I myself will be riding in the 1:1 version of this car!!!! I am pumped!!

Here is the model built from the Tamiya kit with BBS style wheels I made from a few sets I had around to get it close to the 1:1:

Looks great Dave
Can't believe you used the Tamiya kit...I could have easily thought you were working as a Revell mole trying to convince the world that their kits really are better than the ones from Japan ;)

That is really nice! I have a 1/12 Rosso kit of one of those I will eventually build one day.

Did Revell make an NSX???
Matt,
the ride was incredible, even with my big butt in the car we did about 130 at times..... what a fast car for a naturally aspirated powerplant.

Revell actually did two different NSX's, an original one w/the original wide 5 spoke rims, and a later version w/the multi-spoke-style rims. They were full-detail snap kits that were pretty decent. Not Tamiya quality, but plenty good to work with.
