Unfortunately I wont be modeling for awhile, or so it looks. I was working in auto when I fell off a desk climbing into my buddies car and busted my wrist. Not broken, but after several previous breaks and fractures I may have screwed up the navicular or scaphine bone and blood flow in that area. So now I get to see a hand surgeon.

Man this sucks. So much for finishing my hot rod for our show...

Ow! Sorry to hear that.

Honestly, the details involved in creating a scratchbuilt model like yours probably meant it wouldn't have been finished by then anyway. Better to do it right than to rush things. You could always incorporate a '32-ish grille instead and it would be perfect for '07. And you'll be amazed how you can adapt, there are probably a lot of items you can work on even w/a bandaged wrist.

Sorry to hear that Mike. Our buddy Danny can tell you all about hand injuries.
Hang in there and I hope you heel quickly.

Mike:

Sorry to hear about the wrist, don't let it curb your enthusiasim about the hot rod. Can you work on your cad designs, etc while the wrist heals? Let me know if there is anything I can do.

Be careful which web sites you visit with that bum wrist.

I figured I'd let someone else be the fall guy. I knew it was bound to happen :D

A real man can model with one hand tied behind his back. I'm sure you're up to it.

Ken...Im sure you know how difficult it is to operate a lathe with one hand.

Actually, I dont. Sometimes its hard with two. Enjoy your break from modeling (if possible) and come back stronger.

Just got the cast cut off! Its stiff, and feels weird, but I should be able to work easier.
