Completed 944 Turbo

Here is the Hasegawa/Revell of Germany 944 turbo finally finished.

I started by sanding off the rough gravel protectant off of the lower half of the doors, and rescribed the door panel lines. The headlights were designed to be able to pop up and down, but the panel line gap out of the box was uneven and looked pretty bad. So, I glued the headlights in, and filled the panel line and rescribed it also.

I used Cobra Colors Lamborghini Bianco Ballon on this car. It is a cream colored pearl white.

The kit provided some hoses for the various tubes and turbo piping. The engine and chassis built up with no drama.

The interior is very nicely detailed, and was painted cream and tan.

Overall this was a very nice kit. The rear glass gave me a bit of a hard time, but with some patience turned out to work just fine.

Your 944 turned out great! I like all of it, but especially what you did with the interior. Good job!

Beautiful, best one I've ever seen built. The colors work great on it. Glad you didn't use the mousefur for the carpet; I used it on mine and it looks pretty dorky.

Cant wait to see it in a few hours! Is that a CC color? I'll have to talk to Leon to get that color from PPG for my street rod.

i didnt look at this one up close like i should have, it definitely stands out in a crowd Matt, very awesome build & good job on the interior as well.
