I'm on a roll with my front-engined Porsches, and here is the 3rd of 4 I'm planning on building for the show.

This kit is by Hasegawa, and is nearly identical to the 944 turbo I just finished. They only changed the trees for the motor, and body. The 944 built up nicely and I expect this to go well also.

The only modification I've done to the body was to fill in the front license plate holes, and open up the hole in the front bumper. I believe this is supposed to be solid on the real car, so my version is slightly tuned.

I painted this with Cobra Colors paints. I started with Nissan Liquid Aluminum as a base coat and then topped that with Porsche Cobalt blue. It received 3 coats of Tamiya clear.

I haven't decided on interior colors yet.

Next up is getting the chassis/motor installed. I'm planning some wiring and plumbing under the hood.

Nice color there. I'd suggest a light color for the interior w/lots of contrast, say light color seats/door panels and a dark dash/carpet. Of course Ferrari would get away w/a dark red interior w/that exterior color, but this ain't no Ferrari! A rich leather brown wouldn't be inappropriate for it either, if it's the right shade. I'm sure you'll come up w/something good.

Guess we'll have a good number of front-engine Porsches for the show, I'm about to work on my stock Monogram 924 that will get the factory Martini appearance package. I'm dying to see how my custom decals turned out when applied on white paint.

I've added some of the exterior details to this car now.

The headlights and front rear lenses have been added, and all the window trim has been painted. It's ready for glass, door handles, and side mirrors now.

Don't stop building.....you must build more Porsches!!!!
It's really something to see the progress of a great paint job taken to an even higher level when you start adding the details.
