Here is my 4th and final front engined Porsche I'll build for the show. It's a companion to the stock 928 I finshed recently. This is the wild Koenig bodied Porsche 928.

This is a curbside kit from Fujimi.

This one was painted with Cobra Colors paints too. This is GM's Millenium Yellow a Corvette color. It's a really nice yellow with a tinge of orange. It covered VERY well too. I barely used any paint out of this jar.

I have some custom ideas for the interior, nothing as wild as the exterior, but some suttle additions.

Looking good Matt. Great color choice for this particular model. I found it to be unflattering in black myself.
Look forward to your completion.
Chris

I would never have pictured this car in yellow, and it looks killer  Can't wait to see it finished.

Haven't decided on the color scheme for mine, thinking maroon or dark teal as they show on the boxcover.

gawd, all these porches...my mustangs will be lost. That color is amazingly pretty cool on that car, i too wouldnt have ever thought of seeing it in this color. Looking great Matt.

It's starting to look like something now. I've finished painting the window trim, and all the lights and markers are on. I painted the wing and mirrors black also.

Thanks guys.

Bob, I'll be using the stock wheels, and I think the centers will be gunmetal on this one. I'm not 100% sure yet though, I haven't even mocked it up to see how they look.

Gunmetal should look quite good, as well as black, as you've got a good balance of contrast going w/the car.

Glad you didn't say yellow or gold centers. They we'd need to talk ;) :D

Interior colors?

On the interior, I was going borrow Erics color scheme that he used on his 550 Maranello, black with yellow seat centers. But, Brian veto'd that and told me that's too Ferrari, and not Porsche enough. So I'm considering a dark grey, and using Carbon Kevlar decals as seat centers. Not as carbon fiber, but as a upholstery pattern. If that looks like butt nuggets, I'll try something different.

Cool. Paint the wheel centers last to match the most visible interior color....gunmetal to match the c/f should do it.

It's looking killer Matt. Nice contrast between the black and yellow and the super wide tires are going to be awesome on it.....
