This will be a simple curbside buildup of Porsche's 924 Martini Edition. They built the cars for several months during 1977 IIRC.

The kit is Monogram's simple but accurate 924.

Decals were created using the following photograph for reference:

The photo was scaled to match a scan of the body in my graphics program, and the photo was used as a base layer to trace the graphics over. It was a fairly painless process, and my first test print was dead on the money :) The decals were printed on a color laser printer; the colors are a bit translucent but work just fine over a white background as the model will be painted white.

I love Martinis whether the Porsche variety or the liquid type. Just make sure the 4 wheel variety or not shaken, but they can create quite a "stir"

I work backwards; the body is nearing completion and I haven't started the chassis nor interior  I do know they fit at least

My decals worked out pretty well. They fit decently, though I should have looked at my reference shot a bit closer before application. They're close enough, I'm very satisfied w/the color from these laser-printed decals. I still need to do headrest decals, they're simpler and could actually be done on paper and glued into place.

Should get this finished up over the weekend. For a simple kit it paint details out very nicely.

<insert clever martini joke with Paul W. here>

Looking good, will it be a high rider? What kind of rimz? You should add a GT spoiler on the back.
