Yesterday, Eric, Brian, Hal and I went with my son to Road Atlanta for a day of racing.

This was my first time to the Mitty, and it was awesome. It was like going to an F1 race, a NASCAR race, and a vintage race car race all in the same day.

I had a good time, and look forward to going again.

Here's a link to the photos I took.

Nice stuff, did they race the RX-792P? Can't believe there's never been a resin kit of that. Gorgeous car, even if they did like to catch fire.

Yep, they raced it......

There were a lot of cool cars there. We had a really good time.

I kept bugging everybody with "Do they make a resin of this one"? "How about this one....or this one"? All of those great ISMA and GT cars and not one resin kit of any of them.

The RX792-P didn't run on Sunday and was under cover all day, Gene wasn't happy about that. I wish I'd seen the race but had a good weekend nonetheless. I'd like to go to the vintage race at Barber the next time they have one.

The historic at Barber will be on Oct. 20-22.....can you say club meeting that weekend?

Also the Mustang Club will have their 30th Anniversary on Sept. 9-10th.
