Everyone should have received their Porsche stripes/logos and Good Year tire logos by now; if not let me know (I still have Brian's and Henry should have Danny and Mike's). Those decals can be applied at your discretion when the model is painted/polished or finished.
I'm going to hand out the remainder of the decals this weekend to those present at the meeting. The remainder of the decals are:
Driver's name and white background
Good Year sponsor logos for hood and roof
IROC Sponsor logos for front fenders
Union 76 Sponsor logos for rear bumpers
Champion sponsor logos for front bumpers
Car #'s
The Good Year logo should match the color of your car's number. If it does not, let me know. I have extras in case anyone has any problems.
These decals are to be applied later! We would ultimately like to photograph the finished models with their Porsche and tire decals only prior to the application of the driver/sponsor/number decals.
For decal placement information, please refer to the printed material given earlier or take a look at my buildup elsewhere in this section; I have installed a few more decals that won't be seen in the preliminary photograph. We will try to have a Decalpalooza later this summer if everything works out; though these decals are beautifully made and easy to apply. The only stress factor is carefully trimming them out prior to dipping them in water.
The cars are looking great! The black group-build car is painted/buffed/decaled and looks sweet. Henry is in the process of making seatbelts. Seats/belts should be distributed at the meeting.
