RM MotorWorks 1969 Camaro Z28

These are pictures of my recently completed 1/24th scale RM MotorWorks 1969 Camaro Z28. It is a decent kit and I had fun working on it.

The car pretty much box stock with these changes: I substituted the induction system, headers and 5 spoke mag wheels from the Monogram 1957 Corvette kit. I also fabricated an exhaust system more to my liking. The vanity plate is TOSOTR [The Other Side of The Room -- an ACME club inside story :-)]

I used Pep Boys' Varsity (spray can) white primer and covered that with Model Master (spray can) Guards Red enamel. I used Rustoleum (spray can) Painter's Touch for the clear coat and polished it with Meguires Scratch-X. The chrome trim is Bare Metal Foiled.

The interior is stock and painted with tan Duplicolor Vinyl paint, and brown enamel inserts.

It looks absolutely great, I really like the modifications you did to the engine, wheels, and exhaust. I alos like the red exterior with the two-tone interior.

Great work on this one too Steve, you've really been cranking them out.

You're bridging the gap from one side of the room to the other with this car, who can't like a '69 Camaro?

Now THAT is a Street Machine. Great job on the Camaro, the paint looks very nice. Nice touch on the vanity plate too... ;)
