Here's my current project. It's the '03 Tamiya 1/12th scale Repsol Honda rc211v race bike. (By the way... is this allowed on an automotive forum?? :D I've already been threatened with ejection from the club  LOL.. )
Anyway, I have most of the parts cleaned up and ready for paint. Several of the body pieces go together in halves and I still need to smooth out the seam line on those parts. I'll start posting pictures of the build soon.
For now, here's a picture of the box art for the bike I'm working on. (Oh, and yes, I'm still working on some Porsches and I even have a Pony car in the works... ;) )

All right, finally some progress. I'm in the groove now and making good progress. All of the kit parts are painted and ready for assembly. Things should move along pretty well now.
Here's a couple engine pics and a picture of the body parts waiting for polishing.

Lookin' good!
Sure wish we'd get a Porsche motorcycle kit to build for this year.
Yes, I would love to build a V-Rod ;) which benefits from Porsche engine design.

Thanks guys......
Well, I thought it would go quick since all the parts were painted but it's coming together quicker than I thought.
I'm going to have to stop working on it and polish the paint on the body parts soon though.

That looks awesome. That's a lot of assembly in 5 hours. You're getting good practice for the 24 hour build coming up. You'll be the only one getting sleep..

Yeah, what he said  :D
My project will be simple, but it's going to be difficult to keep me from going to Braselton during the early afternoon at least
Those of us who like sleep need to pray for rain that day  :)

Speed aside this is a fantastic build. I may even have to drag my Ninja out! Is that a decal on the instrument panel or did you scratch something out?

Thanks everyone....
This kit, once painted, has practically fallen together thanks to Tamiya. Now I have to polish the body and do the decals and there are a lot of decals.... I'll have model at the meeting.
Dr. Bob, I think I would have to build a Harley to sit at the other table... haha, just kidding....
Hal, the instrument panel is a decal.... I only wish I could scratch something like that

You are always welcomed to the other side of the room but I would suggest building an Indian if you want to be special....:D :D :D

You might be surprised to see who moves to that side of the room when Revell's custom and customizable chopper kits come out :D
Let's just hope it doesn't end up being "The Future Darwin Awards" table   :D

I'm looking forward to the new Revell custom bikes. I'm already planning some custom paint jobs. This will be the reason to finally break out the airbrush again.

Anyone who suggests doing them in IROC color schemes will be severely punished   :D ;)
