News to me, but doesn't look like anything too earth shattering.
Wish Testors would get those Chargers out! I have the urge to build both police and Daytona versions of it. Also can't wait for AMT's '0X Camaro concept, Revell's Magnum, the C6R, Fujimi MX-5, Tamiya's 599 GTB Fiorano and Pininfarina 612 P4-5.
Just kidding on the last ones :D
Dammit ;)

Bob, when you get those last two mock-ups finished I hope you'll post them here! LOL
I think you're dreaming if you think Tamiya will be doing this!
Anyway, It appears that I wasn't supposed to say anything about these new releases. Tom over at Hobby heaven is really steamed. Steven's was not ready to announce these kits yet.
I saw no disclosure on the site so I thought it was free information. Anyway. I guess Steven's is trying to scramble and fix the info. I dunnno. I report as I see....

I wouldn't worry over it; you work at a hobby shop so you saw the information and if it was that public you didn't do anything wrong. Tom gets "really steamed" over things that don't mean squat to anyone else.
As for Tamiya...sigh. Hopefully Fujimi keeps the Ferrari flame glowing.

Wow, just a few hours after all this we find out that Fujimi is doing a 599 GTB Fiorano! And Revell is doing a "proper" Super America with engine and the correct wheels. And Fujimi is doing a Porsche Cayman. With those coming I could care less that Trumpeter is wasting our time doing such powerhouses as a '78 Monte Carlo  What a waste of perfectly good tooling!

It does look like Fujimi is picking up the torch for those of us looking for Ferraris, Porsches, and hopefully some new race cars. Can't wait to order a slew of Caymans from HLJ.:D hopefully a MX-5 cup version of the new Miata.:)

Tamiya is becoming Fujimi with wing and seat accesories, and Fujimi is becoming the leader in new model car kits.. I'll have to pick up a Cayman or 2, and pretend I'm riding in one. :)

Not sure if it would be out before the show, but it's possible. As if we need any more damned Porsches to build this year  ;) :D

Yes Bob! YES!
I look forward to the 599 and the cayman.
Surprisingly, RoG pulled all the stops. I thought with such a low part count that we would not have an engine. All the same I'll hold judgement until I have that in my hands.
So far that Porsche Carrera GT is by far my favorite Porsche(only the Tamiya price holds me back), besides the 73 Porsche. The Cayman though, wow, I was really taken aback with that when I was ogling it at the auto show.
Fujimi is surely becomign the king. Hopefully Tamiya has something up their sleeves later on, but so far no show....

I did say I'd have to sell 4 for every one bought, so I need to sell 12 kits for the year. I gave away about 15 at the spring cleaning, so I'm ahead space-wise. And two of the kits I bought this year are being built as we speak. Another was used for parts. We won't talk about the two I plan to get tomorrow LOL.
