I was on their forum and tried to spell the word "massive" and it came out as "m***ive".

Yes, they have taken the censorship on that site to new lows. Any word combination with "ass" is now blanked out.

They even have a sub-forum called "Community Assistance" that is now titled "Community ***istance"!!! Engines and Chassis is now "Engines and Ch***is" !!!

That's the future of our hobby?

Unbelievable!

I'm not at all surprised it got deleted; Jim had replied that he didn't know what was going on an not to ***ume anything ;)

They may have been hacked. If so that's pretty amusing and political.

But then their sideshow monkey Notlezah replied to another thread and indeed there is a glitch but they did institute some sort of bad word filter because there are children on the internet   In the process they also screwed up the quote feature on the site.

I think that says all I need to know, SA is bound and determined to make themselves so safe that they just don't matter anymore. No Dukes, no beer markings, don't post more than three pictures because people use dialup, censorship run amok, okay...I get it. Time to move on here, nothing to see, please keep moving... :(

Welcome to ACME, the shelter from the storm ;) :) where we've only had to ban an occasional stalker or spammer and the moderators haven't (yet) lost their marbles.

Usually they go goofy this time of year when the kiddies are let loose from school, but this year it's become "Moderators Gone Wild" and I'm not buying the video ;)

"Asswords" isn't in the dictionary so the kiddies and their parents can all sleep safe and sound tonight :D

The moderators may not be nuts here, but the club officers are.
