Here is something I've been working on, and some of you may recognize it.

Here it is mocked up before paint. These are the wheels I intend to use, the spoiler, and the body is almost completely done as far as wide body modifications and the front bumper. After paint, I found some contours were not as I liked, but I am still pretty new to scratching body kits, so it's a learning process.

Here are a couple shots that show how I built the widebody and the sideskirts. Most scratchwork progressed thus:

I hit it with some Silverstone Metallic (Honda) from Cobra Colors. It's currently in clear, has been cut back and needs another hit of clear before it's ready for final polish. Also a picture of it in primer so you can see the contours more clearly:

Here is some of the motor work, though this is almost a week old. The motor area is almost ready to be set aside. The strut bar is my own design styled after some that I found, looking more like a Cusco bar than any other, but the wrong color. It's now labeled "Tanabe" for extra confusion. The single turbo - which I wish was larger in hindsight - is from ScaleSpeedWorks or some place, and the intake pipe is scratch, the filter is from the Revell RSX. The Veilside style plenum is scratch, and totally boss if I do say so myself. The engine compartment is going to be rad ;)

Does anyone know of PE sets that include (or are composed of) radiator caps?

Nice conversion work! I hated the Supras when they came out (I was an RX7 snob  ), now I really like 'em.

The bodywork done to this is awesome. The vents at the rear fender are cool looking.

That engine bay is looking sweet too. Nice job on scratchbuilding all the aftermarket engine parts.

What additions are you planning for the interior?

I think I may have some PE caps, I'll check at home tonight.

I have enough trouble with non-customized boides, this looks great. Keep posting pictures.
