Here is another one I have been working on!! OK, don't adjust your computer, yes I am building a Porsche!!!! I said I was exploring the plastic world!!!! This is of course the Tamiya Porsche GT3. I sanded, primed and painted. Not yet cleared. The color is Tamiyas Gun-metal!! I told ya'll I fell and bumped my head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the wheels done this morning, painted with gun-metal! I will clear the body tomorrow and get the chassis done! Hopefully I will have it completed for the meeting next sunday!!

Well this will be the last update today! I got the chassis done today along with the disc brakes! Will do the interior tomorrow! I hate when something is going this good and you run out of paint!!!! Thanks for the great comments and feedback!! Sorry for all the pictures, I am happy so far with the way this car is turning out!!!

Nice touch on the wheels.
Did you mask that off? Air brush or rattle?

And compliments on the finish nice outdoor reflection on the hood.

Wow...you're going to finish a Porsche before me. Never saw that coming.

Looks great Dennis. Cant wait to see more. I love the color of the body and wheel color. The go together really well.

Don't get mad, we don't have a picture limit do we??? I am just too damn proud of my work so far on this car!! Being I don't normally build this type of model! I still need to polish, slight peel in the roof!! Now I know I will start to rush things and screw it up! I already see that I need to take the steering wheel off and paint the part where it connects to the column black and the center black! Still need to add speaker decals to the dash, maybe??? Here are a few pics........

The paint looks just amazing, as does the rest of the car. We can't say much about your departure from your typical fare if you do it oh so well.

The red seats and brake calipers look sweet with that body color.

It doesn't look like you have much polishing to do. The paint looks nice and smooth already. These low humidity days are great for painting.

Nice work so far! Looking forward to seeing the finished product. You can never go wrong with Gunmetal on modern sport cars. Keep at it!
