We're still figuring whether we need to get custom decals made commercially, or if we can get enough from existing sets to supply everyone, and make a few of our own on a laser printer. I've already done the sponsor decals (IROC/Champion/Union 76). These cars are pretty easy to deal w/the decals. Be glad it's not a modern NA$CAR :D

The cars ran a combination of white and black decals for numbers and Porsche and Goodyear logos and stripes. There were three variations of stripe/logo color scheme. A few cars had all black numbers and logos, a few had all white, and a few had a combination. Cars with the combination of white and black had white numbers and Good Year logos and black Porsche logos and side stripes. Here's the list of cars w/the decal colors:

Sahara Beige Emerson Fitipaldi - Car #1: Black numbers/logos
Grand Prix White Mark Donohue - Car #2: Black numbers/logos
Bright Yellow Peter Revson - Car #3: Black numbers/logos
Acid Blue (DARK) George Follmer - Car #4: White numbers/logos
Strawberry Pink David Pearson - Car #5: White numbers/black Porsche logos
Mexican Blue Denny Hulme - Car #6: Black numbers/logos
Carmen Red Bobby Unser - Car #7: White numbers/black Porsche logos
Aubergine(purple) A.J. Foyt - Car #8: White numbers/logos
Gulf Blue Bobby Allison - Car #9: Black numbers/logos
Bright Green Richard Petty - Car #10: Black numbers/logos
Indian Red Gordon Johncock - Car #11: White numbers/black logos
Orange Roger McCluskey - Car #12: Black numbers/logos

If you 've got some pics, I'd be happy to help. I can do the art and run them off on my Alps if you still need them. They look like they would be pretty simple with not very many colors. Perfect for the Alps.

Let me know..

Thanks, I may take you up on that. I've already done the artwork for some of the sponsor logos (IROC, Union 76, Champion), and need to list out what we need for doing all the cars. Have an old set of Ricambi IROC decals to use as reference, they aren't complete for all the cars anyway.

We have a broken Alps MD5000 at our disposal that needs to be sent for replacement. Do you have their current address/etc. that we need to contact them to get it sent and returned? It's been sitting broken for about 3 years now.

I can do the artwork and print everything but white on laser printers; if we end up needing Alps decals and don't have this one back I can send you a disc w/the software (from IMSI-it's cheap and proprietary but works fairly well and so much easier to deal with than Illustrator) and the files for printing so all you would need to do is actually print them.

Just let me know if you need anything. I work in Illustrator all day long so the art would be no problem. But if you just need to run them, I can do that too.

Thanks-I may just let you do them if it's that easy (the sponsor decals certainly weren't hard); I need to take the existing decals and do a list of every decal (numbers, sponsor logos, emblems, stripes) needed for all 12 cars. I have some borrowed Ricambi decals for this car, but it's lacking four of the drivers and the Porsche logo that goes between the taillights. I'll have the information ready in the next few days. Just got the first color on my Revson car this evening..good old fashioned enamel cut w/lacquer thinn, since that's what I had on hand to mix up to the approximate color.
