Hey Girls and Guys,
Your fearless leader here with holiday wishes. I hope all of you have/had a wonderful 4th of July. It is that time of the month again for an ACME model meeting. This month's "How To" hosts Wayne and Bob will be showing us how to make an affordable display for our models using common materials like stuff from Home Depot and hobby shops on a budget of about $15 in materials.
In the news of plastic the new Viper coupe and the Corvette Z06 have hit the shelves of the hobby and mass retailers, and several new limited editions have hit that can be found most easily from the Model Roundup http://www.modelroundup.com/mcnews.html.
Tamiya has made the announcement that they are going to release the Mercedes McLaren SLR. This is good news for all the Super Car builders. I also hear that a lot of you have been beating the heat by staying indoors in the A/C and have busily building cool cars.
Before I forget all IROC cars need to be at the meeting so that we can gather them up to get a group picture in the coming weeks. If you can't be at the meeting and you have not contacted Bob about getting the model to him, please contact him ASAP.
