this one comes in the form of a shorter version. If you was at the meeting, you most likely seen it & asked a few questions. Since the meeting, i came home & intentionally glued down the hood, & rebuilt what looks like a remake of a 37' Ford hood, i molded in the rest of the hood to the fenders & from the inside looks almost like it could have came factory like this. I also added a frenched in license plate to the rear decklid.

What makes this car look amazingly awkward ( i guess thats the word),is that i had originally cut the orig. roof off & added sheet styrene to the rear to shorten up the interior tub a lil bit. Of course as we were describing throwing two kits in the air & seeing what we came up with...i have three Chevelle pro-street kits lying around & eventually cut one of the tops off one & added it to the merc for effect...,
giving it this lowered, chop top, tubbed animal thats got a name to match its look, 'mezmerized merc'.

i hope to have pics of this thing up soon, since it changes day to day.

right now its at a stand still, i have a few minor body spots to touch up before turning this car an mezmerizer. I can thank Matt ahead of time for sliding me some of that *daytona blue* like what is on that outstanding Skyline of his.

But what has got me is should i go with a white top or all blue?

My first choice would be a flat white for the top. However, a contrasting lighter blue would be cool, too, IMHO.

i finally came back to this old build once again, it had to sit on the shelve for a couple 4-5 months for me to get the sensation in my head again but i think i finally did the car justice. i bought another repop kit and some paint and seeing that i have a few free wheels rolling around, i have a set of wheels for it now. Paint is ultraviolet pearl, wheels are kranze 19", and the engine shot is the other engine that came with the repop kit with some added flair on top.

Still a WIP but lookin better and better all the time......
