It's finally broken cover, the ever-mysterious rebodied Enzo blending the spirit of the P3 and the Enzo. Numerous people have already taken swipes saying it looks too much like an '80's concept. When you morph a 2003 Enzo with a late '60's Ferrari racer, exactly what time period falls in between? As VH1 says "I love the 80's". Needless to say, it works for me a LOT and I chuckle at the myriad of cuts it's taking, from being too retro and not wild enough to being too much like a spaceship. If ya like it ya like it, if not no worries. The owner who commissioned it is very pleased, that's all that really matters. I'd like to own an '80's Ferrari concept myself ;) and also commission Pininfarina to do my car. No, I'm not jealous :D It's the fastest roadgoing Ferrari ever, capable of 240+ mph due to lighter weight and better aero than the Enzo. I'd be hunting McLaren F1's to find out.

This is an 8-month old 1:1 painted wood presentation model, the real car has a lot of detail changes yet to be seen in public, and the owner says there will only be one built. Pininfarina's business has revolved around wind tunnels and aerodynamics, and they put it to good use after this model was complete. He's going to display this model on a wall eventually. I want a 1/24 scale model of it, I prefer it by a large margin over the Enzo.

Photos all by James Glickenhous, the owner. That is it's actual registration tag.

WOW!
Reminds me of a few other concept cars from the '80's (of which I love too)
Looks slippery.

I hear you on that. Would look quite good in competition trim too; perhaps w/more aggressive wheel flares and some competition-suited rims.

Car and Driver has already photo'd the car and written their article.

Someone at Car and Driver took an advanced copy and scanned the pics which were leaked to the web.

That's why the owner went ahead and released some pics of the model.
