Pistachio Green backup car

Here is Scott's Pistachio Green (Tamiya Park Green) IROC backup car. It will get more decals; the backup cars will get all but driver names and numbers; white name backgrounds and sponsor decals will be used. After the show it can be decorated as one of the cars that raced later, if he wants :)

Scott thinks he needs to start again on this car, he isn't happy with it. I think he'd be much better off building a different car and putting efforts to improve his workmanship game in that one, this one looks great as-is IMHO; small flaws become a lot less noticeable when the car is decorated and detailed further. That is certainly true for mine. This model is sitting on a borrowed chassis from one of the other backup cars that's already nearly finished.

Yeah, that's a real ten footer, it looks great from ten feet away! Or in pictures, but it doesn't look great close up. I agree with you though, I will continue with this one.

You must have better eyesight than I do; when you sit it down and step back a foot or two you don't notice any of the things you focus on when you hold it in front of your face. Seriously; it looks damned good.
