My first impressions of this kit were not good, it's very simplified compared to the C5-R kit, and only contains 3 engine parts. I thought with a removeable hood it would have the same detail as the C5-R. But the body and interior look very good, and that's what's most important to me.

:) Matt, where did you find your 6-R kit? I wonder if any of the C5-R motor
bits will work? Are you going to dive right into a build or get some detail
pieces to spice up the build?:D

Thanks for that Matt. I was really loooking forward to this kit. It appears that it was almost tooled for snap fitment. Regardless, I'm still going to buy one. Thanks for taking the time to show us.

I drove over to Model Roundup yesterday when I saw their site said they were in-stock.

This car may feel primer tonight if all goes well. :D

I'm not planning a detailed build of this one just yet. all the right parts are well detailed. I will most likely get out the carbon fiber decals, but I won't go crazy with my first one. I expect I'll be building a few of these. :)

You are clearly the first guy in your neighborhood to lay hands on this one. Thanks for sharing the information and photos. I'm pretty interested in seeing how this one builds.:)
