:D Hey gang, I found the New C6R at my local Hobby Town (K-town) today
Sat. 8/12/06. I also found out today that the French 43rd scale com-
pany, Provence Miniatures has closed. So if you had any plans to get
that special 43rd kit you may want to act quickly before prices go up
and supplies dry up.:) Henry

Thanks for info. I bought a can of K8ilz spray primer at Wally World for less than $3.00 but do not waste your money, it sprays on way too thick. If you need to use Kilz buy a pint or quart can, thinit, and airbrush it.

Talk about "overkilz".

What's a shame about this is if you had asked me prior to buying it, you wouldn't have wasted the 3 bucks ;)

Kilz is nasty, horrible stuff. Don't even think "model cars" and "Kilz" at the same time :) I've used it before in a commercial environment. It's not meant for the faint of heart. It's certainly not meant for any sort of fine work like we accomplish with our model cars.

For those who want to buy a good hardware-grade sealer (Lowe's/Home Depot) and use it with success on model cars Zinsser B-I-N shellac-based primer/sealer is infinitely better than Kilz; it's far less toxic, smells better, dries faster, sands beautifully.

Again, do not even think "Kilz" with "model cars". Ever. :D
