Peek in the box and notice the super simplified chassis::eek:

I can't see that link at work. Is it the one with the diecast chassis?

Yeah, it has a diecast chassis...at least this one has inner fenders so you can't see through it like a cheap diecast.
This model of the 307 is here in The Netherlands and the rest of Europe it is called the 307 CC (Coupe / Cabrio).
The 307 is looking something different http://autoweb.drive.com.au/cms/A_6070/article.html . The real 307 drives very nice, I actually drove a 2.0 HDI for one year. It was nice to drive but some parts were loose or getting loose. It was very french.
JPS:)

I'm going to convert my 307 to a street version...tuner type.

I just can't warm up to the 307's style, whether it be production or the rally car. The trunk lid/roofline don't look right for the front styling-often the case for these retractable hardtops on four seat automobiles. It looks odd when rallying, looks like a big, chunky car. Brian, you have your work cut out for you! I'm not in the least bit interested in building a 307. But you'll probably do one up so that everyone wants to build one too. Bastage ;)
The pics I've seen of the 2007 Citroen make me very happy; I sure hope Tamiya does that one eventually. With Loeb driving you would think Tamiya would surely have to do a Citroen next time around...the Heller kit is pretty crude, best for a tuner and a ton of work to make accurate. The Citroen C4 will be the talk of 2007, 2006 looks like it might be a yawner.
Here's a webpage w/the Citroen C4 and it has some great video of the car running. http://www.citroen.com/CWW/en-US/NEWS/NEWSRELEASES/LatestNewsReleases/09122005_C4WRC.htm
