This is a Scalekraft transkit to go with a Fujimi Enthusiast Porsche 356 kit. This is not for the feight of heart, as it requires quite a bit of modification to a 356 chassis to squeeze this body over it. I acquired this kit from El Presidente some time ago.
Nice engine detail. I turned the velocity intakes and made the valve guide tubes on the bottom from aluminum rod. A tedious job coming up will be to add plug wires. There are two distributors and two plugs per cylinder.

Spartan interior, little changed from the 356 interior. Seats are recast from the Revell 356 kit (probably the best part of that kit).

The kit glass was totally useless, so I made glass parts from Squadron Thermaform. I made a form from polyurethane foam and coated it with epoxy putty and sanded smooth. The side window form was made directly with epoxy putty.

Chassis in progress. It was narrowed and shortened in the back.

Nice wheels and tires in the Fujimi kit.

Dash details - trim rings are cut from aluminum tubing. Switch knobs are wire dipped in epoxy, then painted. PE 'washers' form the bases.

I have turned the headlight and turn signal surrounds from aluminum and machined new door handles. I hope to have this done by the ACME show, but it will be a close call, still a lot of detailing to do.
