Going with the Porsche's and Pony Cars theme of this year's show, some club members decided to build the entire grid of the first IROC race at Riverside, including the three spare cars. Extra effort was put in by several members to build a magnificent display of the field with a DVD of the race playing in the background.

I can't describe how cool this whole project was from start to the final display. Lot's of hard work by everyone involved really paid off. I'm honered to have been a part of this and want to thank everyone who helped with all the research all the way to the decals and resin parts. I hope we can do something similar next year also. Thanks for a great show guys.
Danny.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself with the IROC project, and am honored to have participated with all the builders on this momentous accomplishment :) I'd do it again in a heartbeat; and can't wait to get to the final 6 that we're going to have for a Daytona display at Birmingham.

I'm also sending Ed Sexton a set of IROC decals so he can build one for himself.

So can we have this much fun next year w/the FXX's?? Hope so :D

Super job by everyone. I bet there will be knock off shows for years to come. I just wish I could have been there and I hate that I missed everybody. I can't wait for next year!!!!!
