I don't know how many of you have seen this, but I've been following the build-up of this project on another board for a year, or so. The car is nearing completion and it looks like this almost impossible task is going to become a reality.
A group of people took a new 03 Mustang Cobra and fit a 1965 Mustang Fastback body to it. This is not some simple cut and paste, they literally fused the two cars together. I could see someone doing this in 1:25th scale, but to see it done in 1:1 scale is amazing. It's an amazing build. Chek out the project web site (http://sn65.com/).
