This kit has been in my stash for almost a year now, simply because i havent wanted to do any cars til a new year rolled around...well '07 is here & i have a battle plan, im upping my game a tad. This car has gotten a few of my normal touches like, shaved door handles, emblems key slot in the trunk, shaved rain guards, scratchbuilt grille from brass rod ( really sets the front end off), took the chrome off the rear bumper to make it match the car, used the side louvers in the kit instead of the windows, cut open & hinged the trunk lid & added a gas tank from some NASCAR kit with the filler neck. I also bought a set of bronze TE-37's (19"), that will go with the stripes. Ive already decided my paint of choice will be pearl white with the decal stripes.

I also scratchbuilt a piece of styrene to the rear seat area, to apply two NX bottles which i plumbed in and also moved the battery back there & wired it in.
I plan on a rollcage, not sure if i want 4,6, or 8 point style yet and im still configuring if i want a passenger seat in it or not.

Im also aiming to get this car to sit this low (if possible), though im stumped on how i go about doing that right now...but as time progresses ill figure out a way.

almost forgot, my powerplant of choice will be a '99 Lightning engine, it seems to fit snugly under the hood.
