ACME has had a change of heart for it's 2008 NNL show theme.
Birmingham is having a "Donks" theme in 2008, ACME decided that in the spirit of Brotherhood that we would also include that theme for our 2008 show, and will contribute 100% of the club treasury (after covering ACME's projected 2008 running expenses) to the car voted "Best Donk" at the 2008 Birmingham Classic.
Club dues will increase to help the Spirit of Brotherhood. Effective immediately, people that sit on the north side of the room (the door side) will pay $10/meeting and people sitting on the south side of the room (the window side) will pay $10/meeting dues, with an additional $10/meeting snob tax due to their insistence on building models of ridiculously overpriced and impractical cars.
People who contribute a Revell Donk kit door prize at each meeting they attend will have their fees returned if the winner builds the kit. If the winner of the doorprize Donk kit is on the south side of the room (hereby known as "Southsiders"), the north side (hereby known as "Northsiders") will determine what model the Southsider will build as a Donk for display at Birmingham. Any promotional tagging done by competitive Northsiders and Southsiders must be done using HOK paints ONLY (Shimrins cans bought at Wal Mart are acceptable if used first to paint the in-store display). Gang signs not displaying overspray on the hands will result in severe harassment.
After setting aside ACME's 2008 running expenses, ACME's Eboard project the ability to raise a staggering $2.99 which will go to the winner of Best Donk, and a private sponsor will also contribute a coupon for free fries with the purchase of a Happy Meal.
