We meet Chip because we had my brothers car in the Foose catagory. There is a picture of Chip intently looking at the resto photos of Steve's car. You could tel he was very impressed by what Steve had done. I handed him a flier for our show and he seemed interested. PG http://public.fotki.com/pjgrala/all_about_cars/june-07-braselton-bash/

Brewster Green SD w/custom rims
Hope it's a clone w/those cartoon wheels  Guess I'm getting old; I prefer the look of the original wheels/tires that also end up making the car look like it sits too high. So close, but so far...

Right on Bob. That car would look great with some Honeycombs or Rally wheels. I have a hard time believing it to be real if those wheels were put on. Only 14 SD's in Brewster green were made.

Chris Yeah, it's real a Brewster green SD. We stuck those wheels on it because we sell them and wanted to show them off on a car. We've got a blue 71 with aftermarket wheels on it somewhere around here amongst the fleet of T/A's around here.

Yikes; no offense intended w/my comments-I like the new wheels but I like the originals too (Pontiac wheels were especially nice) and a car as rare/nice as that SD-IMHO, obviously, looks much better w/original rolling stock.
I guess it's kind of like if women started wearing moustaches as a fashion statement it would still be blasphemous to paint one on the Mona Lisa  :D

Don't worry, they're only temporary. Those wheels were just put on there to show off a new line wheels we're offering. It's original honeycombs will eventually be re-installed since it does get driven.

I liked them but they should be grey or charcoal not white. No offense but they kind of look like soccer balls.

I liked them but they should be grey or charcoal not white. No offense but they kind of look like soccer balls. I agree, they could use some contrast. The raw aluminum does look white and part of the reason for installing them was to hear what folks thought about them. The little green car has just been sitting around lately so it got picked to model them. Thanks for posting the photos and that is a very nice little Mustang your brother has. It reminds me of one of the six original 66's droptop GT 350's that Shelby did for his employees back in the day.
