I've heard they'll be shipping in early September. Looks like a good range of colors, if the metallics/pearls aren't out of scale as I found on at least one of Testors lacquer colors (the GM turquoise from the mid-60's, looked like metalflake  ).
Must be also to try to ward off the Kustom Kolors from Valspar, seen at some Wal Marts and a handful of hobby shops. So far I haven't heard of people having much real success with them, they are nowhere near as good as "real" House of Kolor paints.

At least Testor's is doing something....which they had too because even "independents" have started kicking their butts. They also have done a good job in packaging we'll just have to get used to seeing it for the next 10 years.
As a side note a new Wally World went in near my work so I decided to count how many days it would take for the Testors paint display to get mauled. It made it a surprising two weeks but it's so bad now you can't even read anything on it.

Is this paint similar to the Base coat/Clear coat paints they have out there now?

The whole "One Coat Lacquer" thing advertised on their stand makes me think it might be more like Tamiya, and not always need a clear coat.
I just hope there are more color choices that what they show, even though those look like cool colors.

According to Hyperscale, they do not need a primer coat. They can be sprayed directly onto plastic.

That's the smart way to go in modeling paints. Thanks to Tamiya for starting the trend.

And they're likely a lot better than the Valspar HOK-but not paint that they're selling at some Wal Marts in the model section; I've not heard anything good about them, and some have said that it can't even be stripped...
I just wish Testors and Tamiya would allow us airbrush users to buy the colors in jars vs. having to pay extra for a spray can that we're just going to empty into a jar...that ozone layer isn't getting any thicker, y'know?

I haven't heard about anyone finding any yet. I'm sure the forums will be active w/sightings when it does start to hit the LHS. Stevens Int'l still shows it as "TBA".

They're out now, people seem to like 'em. I've seen one spoon test of it, haven't tried any myself.

Cool; I guess I'll go out and see if I can cop a few cans. :)

Guys:
I received each of the colors and opened up the "Fiery Orange" and did the "spoon" test. Sprayed it directly onto a plastic spoon with no primer, etc. It did not attack the plastic and dried to a very glossy finish after 5 minutes in the dehydrator. I'll try to spray all of them over the weekend and post additional results.
