This one's just for GTMike400...got the D Rods cabover at Wally World, looks pretty cool. Sitting atop of it is my unclearcoated Tamiya metallic black topless Maisto diecast SSR w/red interior and wearing the rims/tires from a Black Force snap kit.

That cabover looks pretty cool.

It may be a cool truck to add the Racers wedge to.

I scored a yellow one at Wally World this afternoon. I'm curious how accurate it is. The only reference source I have is "The Truck Spotter Guide" by Tad Burness. Even if it's a total phantom, it is cool looking.

That's what's so great about a club such as ACME. Before Sunday, I didn't know it existed. I saw it advertised in a magazine that someone brought to the meeting, Zoom Zoom told me to check Wal-mart, and 48 hours later, I have one.

Also saw the Magnum diecast from Revell during the same expedition. I almost bought it (gullwing doors and all) but decided to wait for the kit. If there was no plastic version due, I definitely would have snagged one.

Hopefully, one of the diecast companies will do the Challenger concept car.

Hopefully we'll see decent models of the Challenger and the far more sexay Camaro concept ;) whether in diecast or plastic.

Of course since we bought diecast at Wal Mart we've contributed to the demise of the plastic kit hobby   ;)

But I won't tell Tom Carter if you don't.
