Did a lot of painting this weekend. Got the Revson IROC car in finished primer, got the ACME group build car painted, and painted a couple of my "cute cars" from a recent HLJ order.

Revson and ACME backup cars:

Nissan March/Micra, painted Nissan Millenium Jade, and so far sporting Mini Cooper rims from a Fujimi Mini Cooper S kit:

This is the "Stella Bridger" car from the Italian Job series by Fujimi. It's a John Cooper Works Mini Cooper S in US trim w/LHD and featuring the JCW aero package and sunroof. This is the "ultimate" Mini Cooper S you can get from Fujimi, the "kitchen sink" version that I desired all along (I earlier built a LHD Cooper S but it didn't have all the bells/whistles).

Here's the pair of little cars...the Nissan is sort of a Japanese Mini w/o being a complete clone.

Nope (molded in red/white)-it's a home-brew of Grigio Alloy/Blue Sirena/Alclad aluminum to brighten it a bit. The bright electric blue color is apparently impossible to get in model form, even Blue Sirena is a bit dark.

The look great, especially the blue on the Mini. Will make a great combination displayed together.
