We had a great meeting yesterday, 24 in attendance for the annual post-NNL celebration and blind/white elephant gift exchange. We re-elected Henry as Prez and Paul as treasurer and enjoyed a stack of pizzas and were treated to some great homemade cookies baked by Paula Cunningham. Good stuff!

Here's the meeting album; I tried to get pics of all the winners and steals from the exchange. Thanks also to Wayne and Paul for taking more shots of the festivities as well. Feel free to add comments in the album! Keep 'em clean  :D

Looks like a fun time. I wish I could have been there but, hey, I went to the beach...

You got that right... unfortunately I can't seem to get motivated to build anything since moving here.

Me either, a full year and 2 months has went by, and no new cars on the shelf. It's time to start looking for a job in Hot-lanta again.

Thanks for the pictures-I wish everyone the Happiest of Holidays.
I was driving north on Collins Ave. (A1A) the other day when I came alongside a black sports car. At first, I thought it was a Viper until I saw the name McLaren on the front fenders. This was only the second one of these cars that I had ever seen on the road; this particular specimen was all black with deeply tinted windows-no chrome trim on the side vents. After picking my jaw up from the floor of my car, I looked over at the driver's side & gave a very enthusiatic thumbs up! With examples of cars like these, not to mention all of the custom motorcycles that I get to see every day, living here in Miami Beach has renewed my enthusiasm for building models again.

Thanks. From the description it must be the McLaren Mercedes SLR. The badge on the front and looking over to the driver's side gave it away...if it were a McLaren F1, the driver sits in the middle between two passenger seats set behind the driver. I haven't seen either on the road.
