Superbowl of Motorsports in GA Dome

This event was this past weekend, and was a blast.

I had never been to a Monster Truck event, and didn't know what to expect. They put on a very entertaining show. There were young kids racing on 4 wheelers, normal 4x4 offroad vehicle racing, and some motorcycle freestyle riders performing a bunch of cool tricks in the air. After the Monster Truck freestyle event, they also had a Crash-up Derby.

When those guys destroy something they go all out. It was awesome to see them rolling and flipping these huge LOUD machines.

It was some great entertainment for my kids. They got into it, and cheered and booed, and had a good time. If you haven't been to one, it's worth the $10 or $15 to see them. The show has been sold out for the past couple years, so get your tickets early.

Glad you had a great time - how is your hearing? I've never been to one but would definitely like to go some time.

Looks like fun! I went to the Supercross there a few years back, it was a blast. Including the drunk guy near us that was so obnoxious and later saw him hugging a trash can in the restroom getting rid of his beer rental the hard way :D He quieted down nicely after that ;)

This was a fun event. Deanna and I went with Matt and his family. It was a lot of fun just watching some of the people.... lol. Some of those folks there were SERIOUS Monster Truck fans.......

i went to one a few years back in Chattanooga with family, the dome there is too small for them to get full throttle w/o slamming on the brakes in the air. its definitely awesome to watch, i did wanna go to this one but didnt have the time or $$$.
