Looks good to me...for the Light Green backup car I would recommend Tamiya's TS 22 Light Green.

Maybe an alternative for Pistachio Green would be Tamiya's TS 43 Racing Green.

Cool, thanks for the suggestions. Will do some further testing this weekend. So far we have the following suggestions:

Bright Yellow: Tamiya TS16 yellow (too bright/needs to be lighter/greener)

Grand Prix White: Tamiya TS26 pure white

Bright Green: Gunze H46 acrylic "emerald green" or Grabber Green (a bit dark IMHO)

Gulf Blue: MCW carries it, I have a small quantity for color matching if need be

Pistachio Green: Testors square bottle green or Sassy Grass green; poss. Tamiya TS 43 Racing Green
(update: Sassy Grass or a mix of Testors 1124 green w/2767 Sublime green)

Light Green: TBD/yellowish-lime green color. May need to be mixed. TS22 is a bit bright, 2767 Testors Sublime is very close

Aubergine purple: Krylon Short Cuts SCS 074 Iris?? One Shot painter's enamel purple (perfect-have paint)

Acid Blue: TBD/Tamiya TS15 Blue? Cobalt blue, lighter than TS15 w/more purple.

Mexican Blue: Testors lacquer Big Bad Blue/Tamiya TS French Blue...both seem slightly darker/less vivid

Indian Red: Tamiya Italian red or Testors Guards red

Orange: Testors Go Mango or Competition Orange

Sahara Beige: Tamiya Light Sand TS 46 (on white primer) will need clearcoat for gloss

Strawberry Pink: TBD (seems halfway between Indian Red and Carmen Red in photos) may need to be mixed

Carmen Red: Testors/MCW/Mopar Panther Pink (Testors Hot Magenta 2755 enamel looks great)

Black: Tamiya TS black

Ok, I just bought some bottles and cans of Tamiya greens to test. I bought a bottle of X-15 Light Green, a can of TS-22 Light Green (same color?) and a can of TS-35 Park Green. All have potential. I'll spray/brush a test body and bring it to the next meeting.

Your "pistachio green" color is somewhat between TS22 and TS35. Gunze has a bottle that's really close, or mixing Testors Sublime w/Testors green...blah blah, the pics on the net make Green Go/Sassy Grass Green look almost dead on. Testors has lacquer cans of Green Go. Found some other color info. today, will post in the AM after sleep. My IROC car is ready for primer, I have to take pics of the body mods before I prime it.

What color are we using for the underside? I assume the body color.
Body sections of racing Porsches in the 90s come in a light gray primer. But that is now.....This was then....and nobody is going to repaint anything.

Eric and I painted ours body color. Just like on the box art. I'm not sure if everyone is doing this though.

Body color is the correct way to do it for full detail; however those who are working on curbsides and don't want to display the engine inside the car yada yada can just paint the entire chassis flat black to save some time. Originally the black group project car was going to be curbside w/flat black chassis since Matt's working on the engine for it to be on a display stand. But Henry destroyed the body on his first attempt (had paint issues and threw it into the wall-gee, I've never ever thrown a Porsche 911 model into a brick wall  ) and has it as a parts kit now and wants to build an engine to be installed inside the group build car...so that it'll have both engines. Guess the chassis will be painted gloss black now instead of flat black ;)

I got lucky w/my paint; at lunch today I tried buffing out my IROC car and the Gunze B501 clear polished out perfectly w/o needing to be hit w/the micromesh...and it had a bit of "grain" to it but it all smoothed out very, very nicely.
