I just do one at a time. My current project is the Tamiya Mercedes CLK-GTR with the Scale Motorsports superkit. Lots of carbon fiber decals.

As noted above, my IROC Porsche is now painted/polished ready to build and my custom 612 Downietti is ready to build because the hood is finally painted/polished and shows no further signs of blistering. Moral of that story...Italian beauties dressed in conservatively-colored attire still may carry some nasty diseases   ;) :D

Bob...we'll see how good the hood is in a couple months.

Shhhhh. It's already suffering a slight case of putty or primer shrinkage in one spot from my rapid dehydrator-accelerated fill/prime/paint/clear process, but it is what it is and I'm done w/it. Real Ferraris are equipped w/numerous paint defects from the factory so I can say I have an exacting replica. Have to fit mesh and build it.

In a couple months it will be something that I hope you have also created by that point...a FINISHED model  ;)

I'd like to have the Ferrari on display at B'ham for it's first official showing. Maybe if we have decals back by then there might be a few IROC Porsches there as well; my intent is to fast-track mine now that it's painted.

I'm working on the IROC Porsche. All filler has been sanded (except for the rear spoiler, that's yet to sand). The rear fender holes have been corrected. Next to do is final sanding, then it's primer time!

I'm gonna be WAY behind on the IROC. I just started my brother's Honda Chopper to match the one in his driveway. He sent me two mish-mashed opened kits to get his ride just right, but I spent last night just figuring out which trees r for which bike. Then there were all the loose parts. It was a mess. He hopes to have it for his birthday Apr 27th. Yeah, we'll see. I have to make a completely custom front wheel.

Got the engine built on mine tonight, need to take pics and finish the writeup of step #1.

Are you asking if there are "T" section pieces of styrene? If so, yes. They sell lots of basic architectural/engineering shapes of styrene in different sizes. Hobbytown should have it.

I'm working on:
Fujimi Lamborghini Gallardo CC Bianco Ballon Pearl, in clear.
Fujimi Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII Ralli-Art Street version, Tamiya Black painted, assembling.
Revell 2005 Mustang, CC Two tone with Fire pearls. In first coat of clear.
AMT Supra, Shimrins HoK paint tester, in base coat right now.

I wish the club here was as put together as this club, you guys have some great ideas and themes. At least I can be a part of this group via the internet.

Yep, thats what I was asking, thanks. I'll be using it to make the custom wheel spokes on the chopper. I check HT.

Yikes, scratchbuilding wheels can be a tedious/messy job! Guess if you have the right material, plus a rim, and perhaps and autocad layout of the spoke pattern it might not be too terrible. Good luck w/it :)

Well I've got a rim (pulled the spokes off the box stock one), got a CAD layout and pictures and now I'll go get the styrene (hope its the right scale). Still, it won't be a picnic, but I'll be a better modeller for it.

For the next week, I will be working on a suntan-Wendy & I are headed for Miami Beach this Saturday; as far as modeling goes, I'm finishing a Fujimi Mazda RX-8 for the head of Tech Support where I work (EMS Technologies). Good luck with the chopper; I'm looking forward to seeing it!
